Welcome to lz, mate! :)

Not sure what you mean by landrover owners club? Last time I looked, there were quite a few owners clubs. And most of them aren't fussy, so long as you pay.

Are you sure your application hasn't been lost in the post or something?

I'm not sure which one it was I emailed them with no reply from them so gave up in the end.

What sort of landy have you got?

Series3, Ninety, One Ten club are ok guys. Or if you want to drive in competitions AWDC. I have been in both before, though not a member of any now.

Drive it a lot over farm land and some marshland was wanting to give better suspension and good for towing.

Standard D2 suspension is extremely capable off road. And air is much better for towing.

I did 30 years of farm and forestry work with standard springs on landrovers, and 3 years towing cattle trailers with a D2. No worries.

Are you saying you just need a new set of suspension based on the std stuff that was fitted? , albeit not air suspension, altho for towing it is a better proposition when working correctly.

Cheers

I've got to change the from shock bushes on the front so was just contemplating changing shocks and springs for better than standard ones really so just putting feelers out for the best option

They aren't better. Except if you want to drive in very specific situations needing higher ground clearance. Like modified trials.

For all round, standard is best. Just change the bushes, they fail for a pastime.
