My wife has a Landcruiser that we have owned for 4 years without any incident.

After having several landies from series 1's, I have so missed the distinctive oil drips and had to have another Landy.

Fancied a 90, but having seen the prices, its seems that everyone else does as well.

Anyway, in the end I have bought a 1999 series 2 V8. 2 Owners in Epsom Green with just 60K miles. Fabulous. Just needs a straight through stainless exhaust to release the noise.

Not sure whether to LPG it or not as its just a toy so wont do many miles and I dont want the tank inside so I was quoted £1400 which seemed a lot, especially as were in the midst of a huge recession! Id be happy to listen to any comments on that front.

Thats me as a brief intro.

Regards to the other Landy nuts out there.

we do it because we want to and can.
I am a great toyota fan for the reasons you say.

But now 'enjoying' my p38.

I have had it two weeks and so far:
New brake discs and pads all round.
renewed all brake pipes due to fracture on road drive after doing the discs and pads and now just about to set on replacing all air springs.

Oh yes, and the battery has gone flat, and so has two tyres!
It's great to have life again and a LR.

Everyone, lets enjoy.

Best wishes.
