Just Bought a old Discovery 2 TD5 Landmark - I have Had many LRs over the last 40 years I have now got the bug again ! All my previous LRs have never been a problem ie zero faults, perhaps i have been lucky ? Thats From Series 1 to Series 2 plus Freelanders V6 and Diesel to Defender 110 with BMW 6 cyl petrol engine in Africa, I Lived in South Africa for nearly 20 years so had many off road adventures ! I don't understand why so many people have bad reviews about their reliability, for me its all about MAINTENANCE / Prevention, I have had Old ones / Brand new ones and Low milllage and High Miles, So hope this old TD5 I now have will look after me if I look after it ! Time will tell !
So I am now Looking Forward to learning more about the ins and outs of my TD5 on this forum.
