New LR L322 owner.

Hi everyone

I am a first time 2003 4.4 V8 LR RR Vogue owner and have a few questions. Are there any over heating issue with these vehicles as mine runs really hot?
If so Is there a radiator upgrade any one can recommend?

Sorry if this is a silly question but my mechanical skills and knowledge are limited.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi Craig, welcome.what do you mean runs hot? As in all the time? Or every so often? I have a 2004 rr Vogue and finally after 3 and a half years of ownership and replacing the water pump twice, coolant more times than I care to remember, thermostat, temp sensor and seal and radiator it is finally behaving itself. It isn't the best system and not helped by using o rings to seal. I dare say I could probably strip the cooling system blindfolded now! Needless to say there are plenty of weak spots. I would start by checking your coolant and checking for leaks by removing the under engine tray. All the best. Tom

The temp gauge never goes above half way but it's just so hot. Sometimes there is a hot smell from under the bonnet. I am going to flush the cooling system through and replace coolant. I just wondered if there was a new and improved radiator that would help maintain the system.
