New Landy Fan

Hi all,

Hope you are all well !!

I’m new to the UK and new to the Landy life.......
My son and I are from South Africa and love the outdoors and 4x4ing. Our 4x4history is a Jeep Cherokee then a Toyota Fortuner.
We would love to start a new hobby but are unsure which Land Rover to start with. It’s either a Disco 1 or a Defender. We want something old that we can play with and not worry to much if she gets hurt.
I’m sure there are a lot threads and I will have a look. But if anyone wants to comment please feel free!!

I will also be posting a lot of questions as ( like I mentioned) we are new to the UK

Either a D1 or Fender would be a good starting point.

Have a shufti around and ask away.
