 Hi Guys-n-gals

Just registered after returning back to the Landy Defender scene with an absence of 10 yrs ownership.

Although we have a freelander as well.

I have a slight problem with the wipers not parking on my 90 tdi, can the autopark be easily fixed ie through cleaning the electric contacts etc

Thank you

I had the electrical connector box apart on mine a couple of months ago. The contacts on the switch were corroded along with the rest of the terminals they cleaned up quite well. Though when it was all put back together the wipers still don't want to stop in the right place unless the windscreen is wet!

Isn't it always wet? Why else would your wipers be moving?
Then again, I suppose once it stops raining yer screen'll be dry won't it?
That is - if they touch the glass, which is allways a bit of a bonus with Solihull's finest eh? Ferkin 'ell - I'm having an argument with mesefl! I feel like I'm Cleavon little in Blazing Saddles  SOMEBODY HELP ME!

TENTMAN: welcome to our cosy little forum :)

Gareth

Cheers

Kevin
