New from Devon

I got !myself a Freelander 1 at the end of last year and it's been OK but the dashboard cd multi player failed so I got a double din Kenwood and an adaptor loom from Amazon fettled the unit so it fits but Connecting the electrics I have no sound, checked the plugs stereo lights up and will play a cd but no sound. Anyone had similar .l have even reconnected the old unit and the sound comes back ,checked wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual but colour codes are different. Help
