New Defender owner

Hi all,

I have just purchased an 86 90 2.5 petrol. I am planning a complete rebuild including a new chassis and V8 power.
I'm hoping my experience and skills learnt over the many years building Hotrods will help me with this project.
Will start a build thread once I get started.

Looking forward to sharing the fun!

That is a really great landrover, one of the all time best!

If its good, I would try and keep it original, 2.5 was one of the better engines landrover made. Your choice, though, V8 would probably be nice too.
