Following on from my thread of :-
http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f8/standard-height-suspension-replacement-help-ideas-189634.html
I went down the route of:-
Bearmach Heavy Duty Blue Springs - BA 2103 - rear with 20mm lift
Bearmach Heavy Duty Blue Springs - BA 2104 - front with 30mm lift
Giving me around a 1 inch lift, which is serving me well although I have only done a couple of thousand miles on them, if that!
Now I have the modulars and flexi arches, thinking about increasing to a 2 inch lift. Consensus after searching seems to say that I am ok to fit 2 springs on the standard shocks and not need to do any other modification.
However, just asking for opinions from other folk that have done this, is there any additional mods that are worthwhile to reduce stress on other parts with the extra height?
I am not an 'extreme' off road guy, so articulation etc is not a main worry, just the extra height for, dare I say it, looks
, as well of course practicality of the wheels having more room etc
.
I would be looking at getting the Bearmach Heavy Duty Blue Springs again, but with the 50mm lift.
Cheers
