Need A Second Immobiliser Fob

I need a second imobiliser fob - I only got one key and one fob when I bought it.

Plenty for sale on ebay but not "chipped".

What is the best way to get a second fob? Can you programme them yourself - I've had a couple of cars where that bit was DIY when you got a new fob or chipped key?

The only way I know is to take the car to a Land Rover dealer. Mind I didn't have a fob at all as wife (stupid bovine) lost the only one we had, which is more than a pain when your key code has three 9's and would only work 10% of the time. Get your spare before you lose it!

If you can find some one local with a nanocom of similar they would be able to do it.
