That *is* us. Certainly there are a good number of us drive in that
particular area and Jim Sampson at Overlander Training uses it almost
exclusively for training.

I *might* get away with driving on that kind of crud (1" tread left on the
Grizzly Claws - a 1/2" spike *probably* won't penetrate) but the people who
take their motors up there with the street tyres on are going to have them
shredded.

What really worries me is that there are a lot of people who go walking on
the trails in that area - cub packs and scout groups in particular, and
that kind of crap could cause a *lot* of damage to anybody who trips onto
them.

Add to this the damage this kind of crap will do to horses who tread on it -
quite possibly laming the horse severely enough for it to need to be
destroyed.

Find me the absolute ****tards who did this and I'll introduce them to
Chiropracting - Discovery style. With snow studs. I honestly think that
drawing and quartering this type of people is far too good for them. They
deserve *any* level of retribution they get. This is sheer bloody idiocy of
the most dangerous sort.

What the hell are they going to do next? Bucket of nails off an overhead on
the M1 at rush hour for a "larf"?

However,

I'm interested in what motivates someone to do something as viscious
as this, with such disregard for the damage and pain that may result.

Do thay really think "oh, it's only a few tyres"? Do they give any
broader thought to their actions - at all?

I'm all for being able to protest, and in many way I support direct
actions that draw attention to a grievance or cause, but only when
this causes no harm to others.

Education, talking and listening is a very good way of overcoming
irrational intolerance. Course, some people are just evil barstards.

Well if you just shoot them they are not longer there to bother anyone.

Today while installing the alarm, I was passed by the usual quotient of
moronim, on there way to climb in the windows of the staircase in my block
thus avoiding what is supposedly a security door. When I returned there was
a strong whiff of illegal substances.

Well maybe, but I guess my (nearly 90 year) old mum may very well
count as someone who, by her actions as a protester, would be seen by
some as a radical activist.

I know that my knee jerk reactions will be somewhat unconventional if
me or mine is attacked or injured. Coming back to the original post,
I do very much question if any harm is really necessary, and may
possibly suggest that the actions are misguided by those who, as an
example, may be mortified if their deeds led to a horse or dog having
to be 'put to sleep'. Dunno if you'll really understand what I'm
trying to say, I'm not trying to be confrontational, just looking for
other solutions I guess.
