Hello to the Forum! I’m from Russia and 3 months ago I became the owner of Discovery 1. So now I want to share my joy and impressions of the car with you. The 1998 car. Its mileage 140,000 km (87,000 miles).

Before buying the car, it was motionless for five years. It started on the first try and went well. The engine works perfect - the coin can stand on the rib. The automatic gearbox works softly and no jerks when switching. The interior is leather and in very good condition.

The body and the frame of the car are in good condition, but there are some problems. On the frame the number was not read well - new police markings were applied. There’s a little rust on the front and back arches - it will be welded in the summer. And I have all the equipment for that. The car’s hood is damaged, so I have got another one. There’s a little aluminium corrosion in the body. I’ll do sandblasting and local painting. I have the equipment for that, too. I’ll report all the work done.
