Took the plunge a few months back and decided I wanted a defender after owning a ford maverick. Although the maverick was a great vehicle I wanted something more basic and refined.

First thing to do was protect the chassis somewhat with dinitrol before taking it to the mud.
Light play after that task.
It's first laning trip
Bumped into the dutch marines
Out and about in my backyard
Mods so far I have done are chequered bonnet, Mud stuff dash, Rear storage and today my first big mod fitted my newly acquired rear qt arms and kam difflock.

So far loving the defender, everything is so basic and comes apart and goes back together so easily.
