Hi all!
I recently purchased a 1996 300Tdi ES manual. The specs don't seem to match the standard specs for a South African ES. It seems to be missing a few things that were normally standard. One thing missing is the rear door (or tailgate) mounted bass speaker box. I have a found used one which I want to fit. The wiring appears to all be there, with pre-cuts in the door trim. However, the door frame does not have any fixed nuts/threads needed to mount the speaker box. Does anyone have a solution, without having to remove the tailgate?
