Just thought I'd test the water with this. Mods if not happy then please feel free to remove.

I'm slowly selling my collection of deactivated weapons as its not something I really do anymore. Good hobby but very expensive these days and I've got the landy anyway.

It's a Russian Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine in brilliant condition complete with folding out bayonet and cleaning rod. Deactivated to pre 1995 spec which means that the bolt action still cycles and I have some dummy rounds to go with it. Date stamped 1943 with manufacturers stamps of the Izehvsk factory and only about 50000 were produced in this year, are generally quite difficult to find and quite rare whereas 1944 dated rifles are ten a penny.

De-activation certificate is present with the rifle so its legal to own without an FAC.

The only thing cheaper than '44 de-activated rifles is live AK's from your local dealer outside any maccy d's between 02.00 04.00 :mad:
 
To deactivate a weapon that shoots a 2 foot long flame from the barrel in BROAD DAYLIGHT!! is an abomination.

P.S. The rifle shoots much better when the bayonet is extended. Still a bit stout in the recoil department, though.
 
Was de-ac when I got it sadly. My mate has a live firing one but I've never had a shot. Stupidly the police have told him that he must remove the bayonet if its being transported to and from a range. Em? I seem to recall it fires live bullets, the bayonet becomes a bit redundant in that case :rolleyes:
 
I do. Got a lee enfield no4 mk1 wartime dated and made at the long branch factory in Canada. Also got a mauser K98K, wartime dated and with wermacht stamps. Will be looking to sell them too once i dig out the certs
