I have been hearing that 200tdis run well on vegetable oil, i presume i could just pour in the new stuff straight as long as I had about 50/50.Can they run on used hydraulic oil and if so what would I have to filter it too. I take it used veggie oil would work as well but obviously have to filter it too.

Secondly can I change my rear drum brakes to discs and is it easy to do?

Cheers,

Alex

I'm no expert but in regards to runnin on veg oil an online fuel heater is a good idea. They aren't very expensive from eBay.

Changing from drums to discs is very simple too I believe, if you buy a rear axle off eBay then everything you need is on it

you'll need a 200tdi discovery axle if you want rear discs.

Straight (new) veg oil (SVO) can be poured straight into ya tank with no mods at all upto 70/30 ratio oil/diesel.

Waste oil is a whole new ball game and I suggest some serious research & googling before attempting to run ya disco on it.

An oil can be used as a fuel for a diesel engine. Just filter it well before use.
