I'm looking to buy some exmoor mats to reduce some of the noise level. Any ideas which ones are best and that fit my year and gearbox tunnel.
Ideally looking at the best ones to reduce the noise.
Cheers

Ive got std land rubber mats with conveyor belt underneath them very noticeable noise difference.

The type of matt that fits depends on your gearbox.

They do a thick rubber matting system which is very good, not Hardura the other one I think

I fancy trying some Green laning at some point and was wondering if anyone near my way knows where to go?

Yeah happy to go laning! Though I tend to avoid quite a lot of the Kent lanes as they are bloody tight! Ive never been on a trip without doing damage, lost 3 snorkel mushrooms, a snowcowl, alpine glass and made a big dent in my roof. Not to mention severe scratches! Some of em are only just big enough for SJs

From what I can tell Essex is better, lanes are much more open and can actually fit Defenders!

That's exactly the kind of info I need, Defenders suit a bit of damage but I think I would cry if I damaged mine!
Nice bit of laning and no damage would be perfect.

I can highly recommend the Wright off road mat system as fitted to
The wolfs variants. I fitted it to mine about a year ago and it's holding up very well

Google them - it's a bit ££ and a faff to fit but it's great stuff. It's also
Custom moulded for whatever gearbox/seatbox combo you have

(Lt77 has reverse next to 1st and r380 it is over by 5th)

Cant argue with that as I always use my series 2 for laning as it has no snorkel and no mirrors, many a lane Ive stopped and could not get the doors open as so tight, Pilgrims way is pretty easy the whole length, in summer normal car can do most of it it, but the lanes leading off it up hill can be a different matter, in the snow sometimes truly scary.
Have a look on youtube for six hour mile, Ive walked it, bloody hell never seen anything like it!

One of many vids
