master cylinder probs

I replaced my master cylinder as it was leaking, iv bled the system twice but now when I have driven it (first time since change) the bite is very low.

have I done something wrong??!!

on the threaded rod comming out of the master, where is it attached to the clutch pedal, towards the rear of the car or the front?

sorted, drove it a few miles and it settled in nicely.
