Hi, I’m looking for some advice regarding an oil leak coming from the main gearbox and the best place(s) to look first.
There is an expensive back story to this as I took the car to a highly recommended local specialist, who charged me a four figure some to remove the box, “reseal” it and now 4 months later it is leaking again. I think he has shafted me and when I took it back to him he is hinting that the gearbox may have to come out again. I would greatly appreciate anybody’s thoughts or suggestions.
