Malfunction! Lights come on when using breaks

Hi can anyone help?

I have had a bit of a malfunction this morning, every time I press the breaks, my headlights come on. Any ideas what is going wrong? How on earth can I fix this?

Probably an earth fault. I'd try running a temp extra earth direct from brake light and see if that helps. Check the contacts in the tail light bulb holders as well (Tail/headlight circuit +ve sat right next to brake light +ve)

I had the same issue. It was caused by my brake lights not drawning enough current. As they where cheap LEDs with no resistors.

Thanks so much, I've changed the tail light bulb and problem solved. Thanks for saving me a big bill and a red face with the auto spark
