MAF Confusion!!

You may well know I had a miss on George, found the cause (leaking vac pipe) and in the meantime had fitted a new MAF. It was later found to be faulty and replaced. However, the new one ALSO has gone the same way :confused:

Exact same sysmptoms as before! Getting it read today to see, but why would genuine Bosche MAFs be faulty to this extent?

I wondered if the car was killing them, but surely my old one would have had the same symptoms and show up as faulty when code read?? o_O

Could it be possible there's a faulty batch or is my car somehow killing them? It takes around 100/150 miles before the fault shows up...
