You may well know I had a miss on George, found the cause (leaking vac pipe) and in the meantime had fitted a new MAF. It was later found to be faulty and replaced. However, the new one ALSO has gone the same way 
Exact same sysmptoms as before! Getting it read today to see, but why would genuine Bosche MAFs be faulty to this extent?
I wondered if the car was killing them, but surely my old one would have had the same symptoms and show up as faulty when code read??
Could it be possible there's a faulty batch or is my car somehow killing them? It takes around 100/150 miles before the fault shows up...
