Hello guys,

After fixing the Crank sensor, the old hippo seems to be short on power up to about 2250 rpm, after 2500 it pulls like a train.

There not really much hesitation pulling out of junctions.

My street is on a hill, when I pull out the drive way, the car seems to be coasting until the engine power catches up. Like on roll down hill on your push bike when you where a kid.

Even though there is no hesitation at junctions, would this still be down to the MAF, or could it be the MAP too?

Thanks

Have you cleaned your egr valve recently?? I did mine last week and it made a big improvement from setting off and low rev's. loads of posts on here how to do it. I dont expect freelanders to be supercars, but they are gutless.

I cleaned a load of crap out of there the other day. whilst it was off for getting to starter bolts.

There's a lot of gunge in there and the manifold, so I would not be surprised if the MAP sensor was chocked up.

I just want this damn BMW crappy engine to run properly for once! Then I can move on the annoying stuff like the rear window no working. I'm doing that if the car isn't going to work properly.
