low idle speed

I have a 1999 p38a with a 4.0 gems engine the engine will not idle smoothly, i have fitted new spark plugs and leads and i have checked the vacuum pipes for any splits in them, does any one have any ideas what it could be? Thanks Gareth.

Leads in the right places? Idle control valve.

Hi leads are ok i will check the idle control valve and change it if i need to .Thanks for the advice will let you know if it cures it. gareth
