I seem to be running out of steam very quickly of late, It only happens on up hill stretches and feels like a fuel starvation with the engine power spluttering and holding, she will normally motor on at 70ish otherwise but with the above it can take her down to less than 40mph.
I imediatly thought fuel filter but ther appears not to be one anywhere and since then i haven't had chance to look much further due to the inclement weather!!.
It's a 2.5 petrol, 1990 110. ex-MOD.
Any clues on common problems or issues? i got a 200tdi conversion lined up for it soon but not for a month or two!

cheers
Rob

Fuel ... fuel .... fuel ....

Check fuel pressure out of lift pump.

There may be a guaze filter in the pump. If it has a glass bowl it will have.

Make sure there isn't a choked gauze filter in or near the carb fuel inlet port.

Wait it out till you fit the diesel!
