I purchased a set of 5 locking wheel nuts sometime ago for my Discovery 300Tdi 1995. Under normal circumstances I would not need them living where I do, but I travel south to England occasionally and I feel the need to protect my BFG's.
I came to try these nuts today and they appear to be too small, they just fit nice and snuggly into the hole on the wheel hub. So in other words If I were to undo the other 4 nuts I would be able to slide the wheel off over the locking nut. This is obviously not right.
Am I missing something here. Is there some way of fitting a locking nut that isn't obvious to me?
