I've been aware of the claims made for this polyurethane/rubber 'wonder material' for some years.

If it's as good as it makers claim then surely it is the perfect stuff for axles and even the chassis? Problem is that I don't know anyone that's used for long enough to have a valid opinion. ProtectaKote tell me that it's used by the Royal Mail and the MoD on road vehicles, and that various bridges have been done with it.

We all know that underseal is a bad idea, and I've tried Por15 which didn't impress because it cracked and fell off in places, so is something rubberised a good idea?

Anyone have an opinion from first hand experience?

ps. It's meant to say Load Bed paint. Sorry.

For underneath protection paint everything with a tub of grease mixed with about a pint of old engine oil, and your underside problems are over!!

That'd be fine for every other car that I've owned, but the curious are going to be looking under this one to find out how I did some stuff, so it needs to look a bit smart. Also - this is only the second car I've had with guaranteed leaks, and they're easier to see when everything is one colour. Oddly enough, the other one was a Land Rover too.
