I have the Ashcroft units front and rear,

I picked them up at a darn good cost, they do help get you out of the sticky stuff. A sensible mod , for me a better option than going the full hog fitting a compressor and locking diffs especially due to cost.

    Cheers

Awesome diffs. Mine where built by Nige Barker at Xcess4x4.

    Super strong, work flawlessly.

Rear is totally unnoticeable, bar better grip and better handling both on and off road.

The front has a tendency to more aggressively self center but you get used to it very quickly, overall improves general driving.

Overall corners better, handles better, sticks to the road better. Off road, just the same, they lock pretty sharpish even when crossaxled. If one does spin you are right bit of left foot braking and they lock up.

Cant fault them. Mine have done maybe 40k miles or so and never had an issue.

Im on standard shafts as well. Never blown a rear or a front shaft with them fitted and thats with over 530nm of torque and 33"s.

No brainer imo! Just use prop mineral EP90 and change it every 8k or so.

Yes, I've got Ashcroft's in mine. I particularly enjoy sailing effortlessly up hills in the snow, past the tyre marks where others with more aggressive tread than me have spun and slid all over the road, and onward to the sunlit uplands. The only problems come when all four wheels are turning but the car isn't making progress. In which case it's time to select a different route.
