Not been on for ages.... anyway changed all the tyres from barum bravarus to Avon Ranger and what a difference. Crawls through snow just fine, only been stuck once off rd when my front wheel went down a 2ft ditch on a snow covered rd, easy recovery with with disco 2 on diff lock. Inclines are fine, terrain response can be manipulated so to speak to give confidence rather than hope lol. I've underestimated this vehicle from my 1st off rd day about 1yr ago now however I give most challenges (within my limitations) a go nowadays. There's still a poor offer of ad-ons for the Freelander 2 but hey ho - happy days have been had
