Lift up door wont shut at all

It just bounces off there is no feel in either of the handles either not sure if there's a cable snapped or what any ideas no play in hinge
Was ok yesterday but inside handle wouldn't open most times only go to full travel and nothing happen

No cables just rods, take the door card off and have a look-see.
Thinking a bit more...use a screwdriver shaft to imitate the striker pin with the door open and see if it latches.

Under the window and see if it shuts

My 90 has issues occasionally and if i do the window right up it opens the door on the passenger door.leave a 1" gap and it works fine.

When this happens normally means the rod mechanism has become slight slack and got caught by the window.

Found problem door windows was jamming mechanism

Glad that was of help

Tweak or bend the rod.

Mine seems to have some sort of join in the middle and they come undone after a few months of doors being opened and closed
