licence catagory + number of seats in a 110

I still not got me a 110 S/W landy yet, other thing keep taking my money, but I do have another querie.

The ones in my price range are looking to be the 12 seaters.

I only have a B (and B+E) on my licence, so this restricts me to 8 passenger seats.

taking the middle front out is easy enough, later ones seem to have only 4 individual seats in the "boot" taking down to the 8.

would it be enough just to get the number "8" on the V5 or plating on the truck (if there is a plate for the number of seats) to have it classified as a 8 passenger vehicle, to do the D licence would be bad enough, but Id also need the D+E for towing the caravan, the reason I did the B+E in the first place.

I have a 110 that originally had 12 seats. Because my other half cannot drive a vehicle with 12 seats, I removed the front middle seat and amended the details on the V5 to show it only had 9 seats. This was really easy to do, and it is now registered and insured as a 9 seater, even though it still has the original bench seats in the back.
