Hi,

There's a few places left on this event if anyone fancies putting a team
together.

The format on Friday has been changed to make it easier for people to
get there.

Details are available here:
http://www.muddytruckers.co.uk/

Each team will consist of 2 vehicles, each vehicle will need to have a
winch. The
challenges will include a mix of navigation, driving and winching to get
the 2
vehicles through each section. A GPS is advisable within each team for
navigation
between challenges.

The competition will take place on Friday night, all day Saturday,
Saturday night
and Sunday. Friday and Saturday will be in North Yorkshire, Saturday
night and
Sunday in and around Duns in the Scottish Borders.

A camping ground will be used on both nights where all the competitors
and
marshals will camp. Chemical toilets will be provided and plenty of wood
for a
bonfire. The organisers also expect to be able to provide some basic hot
food
on both nights but you will have the opportunity to stop for meals on
the two
transport stages.

It's going to be a long hard weekend with some difficult off road
driving on land
(in North Yorkshire) that has never been driven before. After arriving
at the camp
site on Friday night, you will not see public roads again until Saturday
evening
with 9000 acres of land available.

If you can put a team together or would be interested in joining a
"stragglers" team
contact details are available on the site.

cheers

Dave W.
