Hi guys,
I am a technician in Kenya working on a particular Landrover disco 4, the issue is that the cluster displays an error “suspension fault” and the tester reads error code; “C1A13-64 Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery”.
The hight controls work just fine until the compressor starts to heat and then displays this error, and there is a noise from the compressor as if it’s running constantly even after achieving the require hight. It runs until it heats up and then throws the error and stops functioning until I let it cool down.

what could the issue be any suggestions?

Welcome:).

I had similar on the L322 rebuilt compressor, and drier with new filters and descant all good
Pretty sure the D4 is the same system.

The compressor will throw the overheat if it runs to long (needs rebuild) or the air is restricted getting out (drier) You have an exhaust issue so could be just the drier, exhaust valve, or the exhaust line think theres some vent filter on the end or something. the system exhaust through the drier if I remember.

Good luck:).

Thank you
I think the best option for me is to change the compressor pump complete and the relay relating to the air suspension system. As the owner stated it was changed earlier and ever since it has been bringing this issue, he did not trust the source of the pump supplier and had no option at the time due to covid restrictions.
It is an embassy vehicle so rather replace the whole system and not delay the vehicle.

But thank you for the advice as the system that will be removed from the car will be serviced as you stated and kept as spare
