I picked up my 2004 L322 Autobiography last weekend, and generally very pleased with the car, however I am having an issue with the central locking.
Symptoms -
Car will not unlock or lock with key in drivers door, can feel slight resistance but nothing happens
Car locks fine with remote key, however unlocking is sometimes 'lazy' say 1 in 3 times the locking tab does not rise fully, meaning I have to lock and unlock until the car decides to let me in!
I have taken the door card off, and found that both cables for the door release and locking mech had come away from their guides, I reattached these to their guides but no difference.
Also I noticed that in terms of the door wiring, there is a seemingly redundant 2 pin small blue wire on the wiring loom which doesnt seem to plug in anywhere - not sure if this is related
