L322 L322 issues help needed

Hi all
I have just bought a 2003 Range Rover vogue 2.9 diesel I have an issue with the front right air suspension bag and it’s showing on dash air suspension fault also hdc inactive if I replaced the bag for air suspension will this solve the issue at all also how easy are they to replace. Once replaced will it need a specialist to reset it or will it work as it should straight away. Also I have the abs light come on every now and again. any help would be greatly appreciated I’m new to the Range Rover world and this is my first one.

Hi and welcome. The short answer is 'maybe' and 'yes'.
What 'issue with the front right air suspension bag' are you having? You need to get it on diagnostics. You also need to check the battery is up to par.

I have the front right air bag not inflating it looks completely different compared to the other side and can tell it’s definately deflated .
Also you seem very knowledgeable so I’ll ask another question I have the stereo fitted I’m told it’s the upgrade stereo with amplifier and 6 cd changer I can connect Bluetooth but am having no sound from speakers but speakers definitely work as when radio is on it works. Thanks

I have to agree, Diagnostics is your best bet.
I would ask for some pics, why is the bag any diff
My money would probably go On a compressor/drier at that age, unless you have proof it’s been changed. To start with.
Bag replacement won’t require any special stuff just don’t **** the Ht sensor

I'll take a guess at height sensor.
However, as all above, check your battery, and you need diagnostics. Once you are sure battery is good, see what faults are still showing. Then test air bag for leaks, soapy water is your tool for that. Once confirmed that there is an issue with bag, come back and someone will point you to the search bar to look for how to change it. Or as it is almost Christmas they might give you the link or just write it down for you.
That is your task for today, should you choose to accept

i found it,, thinks i now need reading glasses or a telescope

If no lights on height switch its gone into hard fault so no compressor = no air it will need fault codes clearing for it to run, if you intend to repair car yourself you really need to buy a diagnostic tool both myself and @dwarfer (see you have woken up then) have the Foxwell nt530 with range rover software and it not only reads codes it will also recalibrate suspension heights some thing the icarsoft tool will not do as dwarfer as found out, as to will it need to be calibrated after bag change maybe it will maybe it wont is the answer.

Maybe a bit off topic (well it is landyzone after all) maybe ought to mention @backinblack here who mentioned the Foxwell tools a little while ago being able to recalibrate suspension that lead me to purchase one.

If air bag has gone one side replace both as other will probably be not far behind.
