L322 gearbox fault

Happy new year every one















I have a td6 l322 with gearbox prob has got forward ars but no reverse. But can't even push it back even in neutral and with fuse 37 put in . Is this gear box or transferbox prob . If you out in reverse the revs do drop about and feels like it wants to move but don't. Please any advice

Diagnostics is all I can suggest. @Bemble is the man who would know.

Does it roll backwards on a slight downhill at all?
If the transfer box is going into netural then the gearbox wouldn't stop the motor moving,
In transfer box netural for towing your ment to put it in park and have the motor running and it free rolls forwards or backwards,

I had a motor in once with the same drum handbrake set up as these things and it wouldn't move forwards but would free roll backwards the shoes had collapsed,
