Another bit of advice please guys....I want to put a nicer set of alloys on my "new" 1998 P38. What do you lads think of 18" L322 wheels?....I have 16" on as standard, and I know that if I go for the 18" L322 alloys off a 2004 Vogue I will have to use spigots and new wheel nuts, but what about the ride quality and handling?...will I be better off leaving things as they are?...I'm a bit unsure about this....all advice gratefully accepted....Cheers!

what about 18 s off a p38 no need for spigots then
but if you live up to your name and travel in sandy deserts i would keep the 16inch wheels and tyres because when they are deflated they will leave a bigger footprint.

If you prefer the look of 18" wheels then go for it. My last 2 P38's both had 18s, the first with factory fitted Hurricane alloys, and my present one has the twin 5 spoke style from the L322 with spigot rings, fitted by a main dealer as the then owner damaged the original Hurricanes and are no longer available. Rides and drives fine, a bit of tramlining on bad roads, but they all do this to some degree. Watch for the tyre size on the later L322 wheels though, the P38 should have 55 profile tyres, the L322 has 60 profile.
