Hi folks,
I am new to this site but not to rebuilding cars, at present I am rebuilding a 1976 Range Rover to compete in the Kenyan Rhino Charge in June 2009. Its a great event really tough on the team and the car.
In order to do this I am working with a group of high school children to rebuild the car and raise the money for the event which will go to Rhino Ark a charity to protect Rhinos in their natural habitat.
We have put a website together at Welcome to the Strange Rover Project which is just beginning but will detail the work we do.
What I need though is advice about sponsorship, does anyone know good organisations to approach or for that mater does anyone have a load of old range rover spares they want to get rid of preferably for free!
Its all for a good cause and I am willing to cover my team in sponsorship clothing and paste adverts on the website or any space not already used by the official event sponsors on the car.
