Just wanted to say hello and get some advice

Hi there,

Just want to say hello i have been looking at the site for a while before i took the plunge and bought myself a range rover.

Is there anything more i should look out for i have just purchased a 1997 4.6 HSE with a multipoint lpg conversion it's done 140,000 miles but had a half block rebuild 40,000 miles ago FSH with one owner from new lots of bills for work done tried all the buttons on an hour long test drive the temp guage did not go higher than 12 noon and the air suspension seamed to work OK nothing on the dash board with faults. have i missed anything?

Hi, you seem to have covered the main bases, the other major thing to look out for on these is to check for early signs of water leak, oil filler cap off, engine running, look for whisps of steam and or/discoloration around the cap. also the hevac system and a sign of water ingress under the drivers and or the passengers mat. More than likely though one owner from new the gremlins would have been sorted, saying that though, get used to tinkering! Regards, Andy
