Woo-bloody-hoo - my trusty steed has only gone and SAILED through it's MOT! 
It wasn't due until the end of the month, but as I had a day off today I thought I'd chance my arm and get it in early, just in case it needed any urgent repairs to keep it legit.
Managed to get it booked in for this afternoon, and apart from an advisory on the state of the rear disc guards, she flew through with a clean bill of health. Mind you, I did have to fork out on a full set of new tyres last week, but that wasn't unexpected - big respect to Datatek on his recommendation of the Nexen Roadians, seems to make a BIG difference to both the handling and road noise.
I'm stopping short of saying that all is rosy with my beast, as I still get the intermittent high-pitched whining noise that I reported on my previous post - I've had a couple of people take a look, and they've concluded it's not a wheel-bearing OR a brake problem, so I'm still stumped on that one. :frusty:
