So the heater blower on my '93 LSE failed to come on again with the same symptoms- flashing coolant level light, cigar lighters not powered, no door chime and no blower. This time I checked my code reader under the passenger seat and it showed 02. The car was running and while I was looking around to find where I had put the list of fault codes in one of the doors, the chime and heater came on. So I cleared the code and checked the list. 02 is Power interruption and it says if it pops up while driving the my ECU may be dodgy.

So, again I'm wondering if the problem may be in my ECU rather than the heater. I believe that Datatek said in my other thread that the heater and the BeCM were not connected but when looking through the "demystifying the BeCM" treatise it shows where HVAC ECU plugs into the unit.

Now, mine may not be the BeCM showed in diagram, hence Datatek's advice that mine is not connected to the heater, but these are weird symptoms so I'm bringing it up again for analysis.

Any ideas?

Well, I'm going to take a tutorial on reading schematics and see if figure I can connect the dots on the door chime-coolant level warning thing.

My daughter thinks that I should find a hobby and I told her that I had one - my car!
