Is this the right turbo?

I just bought my first Landrover from a well advertised refurbishing company. It is a 200Tdi Defender 110.

I opted for a Stage 1 tune with a reputed 30bhp boost. It cost 740 pounds and included an Allisport intercooler upgrade.

However it is pretty gutless. Friends from the local Land Rover club agree it is "lacking horses." They think the turbo is from a 19J engine; at least it is physically smaller than the regular 200Tdi turbo.

Does anyone know if this turbo is correct?

Not sure about the turbo i'm afraid. Have you tried taking it back to where you got it from? Maybe a local Land Rover specialist can take a quick look, and give you some advice...
