Disco 2 Is this duff alternator?

Smoke from RHS of engine.

Won't start Hawkeye cuts out on attempt.

Says 11.6 on HE before attempt.

Now on charge

Some windings look burnt

Very oily

over 2 hours to get it out!!!!

And why is the hole about 5mm bigger than the alt and also I had to bend the EGR cooler

Just need a new tensioner. And belt
