Is the rpice right please?

I am looking at buying a 94L Land Rover Defender 90 hard top. One private owner, done 43,000 miles in blue. Chassis is immacculate, very good condition. Has had speedo changed, but old one with vehicle. Got ten last MOTs to support mileage. Has been serviced regularly, but no history - previous owner is 77 and not kept servie history, but I have spoken to him and all appears to be genuine and correct. Vehicle looks very genuine, drives superb. Being sold at a garage for £4995 and can't get it reduced, but will be tested, cam belt and service. I just want some advice on if this price is good? I am emmigrating to NZ next year so will have for about 9 months. May take with me, but if I can't don't want to lose a fortune. Any advice and help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

On the face of it it seems a good buy, comparing your description of it to all the ones I've seen round my neck of the woods it seems excellent. If you decide not to buy and your any where near North Lincolnshire/East Yorkshire give me a shout, I may be interested.
