If I turn left my indicator doesn’t self cancels but if I turn right it doesn’t. Is there a way of adjusting anything or do I have to replace the stalk.

You’ll need to get yourself a steering wheel puller before you can get to the indicator switch assembly. You might get lucky and get it off without one, but doubtful if it hasn’t been off for a while.

Don't need a steering wheel puller. Remove the nut (21mm iirc) and holding the steering wheel at the 12 and 6 positions just kind of rock it towards you. Should pop right off. You'll see a (normally blue) plastic ring with some lugs around the edges. There's a certain way this should be positioned for it to cancel the indicators but with the wheel off you can have a play with it and see what works and what doesn't.

If you try the above leave the nut on loose so when it lets go it don't smack you in the teeth.
I have found that steering wheels that have never been off tend to be hell of a tight. Those that have been removed before tend to be less trouble.
LR. must have had man mountain fitting them back in the day.:D
