Forgive me if this is the wrong place, but I can find no other to do the introduction !
I was born in 1948 (a very good year!), and bought my first Land Rover in 1970; it was an 80 inch 1600cc OISE of about 1956 (?), for £70, with a rebuilt engine; the registration is now allocated to something else. Then I bought a LWB series 2 and put a Perkins 4/203 engine in it with Roevr 3 litre diff units. (terrible engine). Then another series 1 with the little headlights behind the grill, but I abandoned that in a hedge near Peasdown St John ! ! ! Then I got a Disco 200tdi - full of rust, and finally this 1986 Land Roverr 90 on a galvanised chassis with a Defender 200tdi engine and Disco transfet box and alloy wheels - B-U-T with a very poorly bulkhead.
And it's this item that I need just a little information on!
I have another reasonable 200 bulkhead, and enough mending pieces to completely repair, but I now need to build a jig and the main dimension that I struggle to find is the accurate (now that's a joke in itself for a vehicle that's nailed together in the dark in a shed with a dirt floor somewhere near Birmingham ! ! !
I digress - the dimension between the mounting bolt holes, centre to centre for the door pillar legs across the bulkhead . . . . . I know that it's about 1500mm but someone out there is sure to know exactly what it should be.

So - that's me,
Thanks, Paul
