Hi chaps,

We're looking at a '95 DT (P38) Rangie. I'm (finally) getting around to flushing my intercooler. Had a look on here and it looks as though I can ignore RAVE's instructions on removing the battery bay :) so that's a relief.

Now, the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler is pretty doggy so I'll need a new one. I seem to remember someone saying they cost a fiver from Island. So ...

Q1. Can someone confirm what that pipe is called? Is it just the Intercooler pipe? Part number ESR3289?

Q2. Any other pipes around there that are worth looking at replacing while I'm taking it off?

Cheers,

J

Have you got egr what hose has gone turbo hose or metal pipe hose to intercooler or intercooler to air manifold???

No, no EGR. Think that was only the later models?

The rubber hose that comes out of the turbo (fairly thick and currently covered in oil on mine) and goes int he top of the intercooler.

Had to ask you could of had a engine swap yes late 98 on egr when you say turbo the short one with a90 degree bend that goes from turbo that goes to the metal pipe or the short Straight one that goes from metal pipe to intercooler?

That's the one give it a good clean and clean your camshaft oil breather to as it could be sucking in oil clean inside of turbo Carefully with a rag and check in a weld time to make sure your turbo desk isn't leaking looks rather oily to me !
Could we have that in English please.
Don't go near the inside of a turbo with a rag.

I've corrected my stupid Predictive text

Is ok to wipe inside hose lip of turbo to mop up excess oil and check what's going on will do no harm just make sure its a clean rag old tea shirts are good :)
