Hi, Its been a while since i tried to get my doner P38 going, at the time it wasnt accepting the EKA code (no bleeping or flashing, or not on all turns) I felt the first thing to try would be the switch in the door, i have started to remove this but was hopeing someone would just confirm my thoughts. So the rod which has the plastic door latch on it, (do i remove the plastic part on the rod so it comes through the door? if so how do this come off? Another rod attached to the lock barrel with a spring clip, do i remove this clip if so how? or will this come apart when the other rod has been sorted. Colin

The spring clip stays on, but be carefull when pulling it through the hole as ti is quite thin and can easily break (as mine did when I tried to remove the clip)

It is a pain in the behind taking that thing off the door. My wife had to do it cause I lose my mind trying.

Hi, Well its gone wrong, i have broken (snapped) the lever with that clip, its the rod from the lock barrel. What i want to know! is it possible to put the EKA code in while i have it out, can i check the switch with a meter as i put the code in. Colin
