injector pump

how do you remove the injectorpump on a landrover 2.5 na engine . have undone all bolts outside . taken off timing cover and removed the nut on the pulley . but it still wont come off .

remove the braket on the back, remove all the injector pipes, and then beat the end of the shaft carefully. They are a taper fit.
