It's easy to bypass everything on a TDI if you can open the bonnet, a couple of bits of wire will do it.
Probably better off with a Disklock, pedal lock which completely covers all the pedals, some sort of fuel cut off to stop any fuel getting to the pump, alarm maybe, tracker maybe.

The immobiliser that plugs into the relay socket is a waste of money. Look how easy it is to fit, just as easy to bypass, remove the fuse cover and bobs yer uncle.
Downside to the Bluetooth tracker is it relys on being near a phone with Bluetooth switch on and registered, no good down a remote country lane etc.

I agree about the immobilser but it's any easy install so it's another layer of protection that might help.
The Eufy tracker I'm looking at uses Apple Find My so can be used like an Airtag..
Yes, a GPS tracker would be better but it's a step further than I would want to go to.

It would be better to cut a wire for the relay somewhere of your choice and fit an inline switch somewhere.
Fuel cut off somewhere is also another idea you could use
Agreed, better but harder. It depends on how comfortable you would be doing that. The kit would be good for those of us who are not so competent/confident!

That's fair enough, sounds harder than what it is really.
Basically a relay is a switch, a low current switching a high current. You could cut a wire on the low side, put in a switch and then rejoin to the other end of the cut wire. The result being the relay won't work until you press the switch, Basically what that kit does but harder to bypass as the thief won't know where the cut wire and choice of switch is.
You could also fit a fuel solenoid in your fuel line operated with a switch, or manually, to cut the fuel off. This would of course entail cutting fuel pipes.
I'm sure you're absolutely right and it would be a 5 minute job for you.
But for some of us ....

But for some of us ....
First port of call was a Disklock and pedal lock, bit of a drag to fit but I don't use the Land Rover that much so not really a problem.
Found out a tdi is easy to start with a couple of bits of wire when my son's immobiliser malfunctioned and had to call the AA. I got there just as the AA turned up. In the end I paid someone to remove all off the previous immobiliser wiring and started again.
When I refer to pedal lock (sure others too) it’s the plate that covers the pedals, some have a pad that push the brake pedal.
All you can do is make it as hard as possible and hope they move on. Sad really.
