Hi all

Got a problem with my 2000 freelander 2.5 v6 petrol, not idling smoothly and running a bit rough along the road intermittently, mechanic had a look at it changed the plugs, better but still not right, put a tester on it and it showed that coil number 2 ? was not firing, however having trouble identifying which cylinder is number two and also getting hold of parts to replace as different motor factors seem to haver trouble identifying part, any ideas??

Try thease guys e-cars at www.bsmotors.com on 01767682100 speak to nick I bought two new coils for my 1.8 last week at £17.50 each cheapest I could find next day delivery before 9 am can't fault them:)

As you look at the engine from the front, going from left to right (coolant tank side to battery side). Cylinders 1, 3 and 5 are by the radiator and 2, 4 and 6 are across the rear (right up against the bulkhead). The coils for 2, 4 and 6 are part of the plug cap and bolt to the rocker cover, which makes changing the rear plugs a total pain in the ass!
